Sojourner Truth Study Guide Featured Image

I LOVE strong women who make their everlasting mark on history! This month I want to talk about a hero of not only women but African Americans as it is Black History Month. Sojourner Truth was an incredible person and the focus of a workbook I have for you this month! This Sojourner Truth Study Guide shares a lot of great information about this African American evangelist - who was also an abolitionist, women's rights activist and author. She lived a horrible life as a slave and did what she could to bring about change. Change that was sorely needed. Having been sold 3 times before she turned 13? This should make for a great lesson plan … [Read more...]

A musician helps a young singer find fame as age and alcoholism. Not exactly what you want to teach a little in science! It is not really something out of Scientific American either, LOL! Use this free printable worksheet of mine to help get the basics understood by your little astronomer - it is age-appropriate and will let you study further if there is a real interest. If you see signs of real interest, the best thing … [Read more...]
