LEGOFest a Must Visit Event

by Dannelle

LEGO KidsFest WI was such a blast!!! There were soooo many LEGOS everywhere, with building stations, challenge games, LEGO statues, and so much more! The number of attendees was great, they make sure it doesn't get too crowded so that kids can experience everything during their time slot. The girls loved the building stations. They were able to make many LEGO creations at the Disney Princess, LEGO Friends, and the Construction Zone. Many helpful employees were walking around offering to help find specific pieces. The best part was the Challenge Zones. Activities ranged from team building to relay races. At the end of each 4-minute challenge, a winner was chosen and everyone got a LEGO set prize! The girls even stopped to take a break at the LEGO Reading Station, which had beanbag chairs and tons of LEGO books!!! LEGOfest was totally worth the drive to Milwaukee!! The kids had tons of fun with all of the different things to do. We were even able to grab food at the … [Read more...]

Tech 4 Kids Fright Factory Creature Creator Kit

by Dannelle

Ewww! Creepy crawly creatures! This Fright Factory Creature Creator is the perfect toy at this time of year. Kids can make rubbery creatures like bugs, worms, and spiders come to life with this easy to use 3-D kit! The timing couldn't be better with Halloween right around the corner. The best thing about this toy is how easy it is to operate. Let's see how it's done! The kit comes with the fright factory creator stage, three molds,  one tube of green gel, and a bonus tube of blue gel. The stage requires 3 AAA batteries (not included). Simply fill a mold with the "Ewwgoo", which you use like a marker, and place it on the creation maker stage. The gel is a bit sticky, but not to worry! The molds contain the goo and they won't leak one drop! Once the mold is in place, simply turn the stage on and rotate the crank to move the UV light bar back and forth over the mold. The UV light will harden the gel with each pass. That's right- no heat! There is no need to worry about your … [Read more...]
