I loved cooking when I was a child. By the time I was 8 years old I was making dinner for my family and looking through my mom’s cookbooks for fun. Now that I have kids of my own, it’s important to me to share my love of cooking with them. Curious Chef products are the perfect tools to do just that. There I so much to love about bringing kids into the kitchen with you and Curious Chef is committed to this idea. Curious Chef believes that teaching children to cook builds essential life skills like self-confidence, good eating habits, promotes ownership, fosters math and science skills, listening and following directions, teaches vocabulary and encourages spending family time together. Discover Kids Dinosaur Factivity
As the mother of a curious and precocious six year old, I am a big fan of all of the STEAM toys that are available lately. I especially like any opportunity I get to reinforce the idea to my daughter that she is free to enjoy whatever it is she likes and that there is not such thing as a “girl’s toy or boy’s toy”. My daughter told me she wants to be a paleontologist when she grows up and I like that idea. The Discover Kids Dinosaur Factivity is a perfect toy for any up and coming dinosaur hunter. The first and most prominent feature is a ten piece dinosaur model that your child can assemble. My daughter and he dad had a great time putting together this triceratops and going over all of the features of the skeleton. My six year old needed some help from her dad, but the bones assemble pretty quickly and easily. The final product is a very cool miniature skeleton. Even better is the Land of Dinosaurs book that accompanies the skeleton with the Discover Kids Dinosaur Factivity. … [Read more...]

Table Time Look & Lean Mostly Math Tablecloth This beautiful table cloth is made of PEVA so it wipes clean easily and is terrific to put on your table for fun conversation and lessons over meals. This tablecloth covers topics that children need to master to advance from pre-K through first grade so it was just perfect for my daughter and provided fun and challenges in a … [Read more...]
