Arckit GO Colors Really Stacks Up

by Sarah

disclaimer: we were sent an Arckit GO Colors product in exchange for an hones review. All thoughts are entirely our own – and the elementary school students’ who tested this out for us. The product was then left at the school to be part of their “maker space”.

arckit review by sarahlyngay.com

The Arckit GO Colors Building Kit is a must have if you or your kids like to build things! These amazing kits are like a mix between Legos and Lincoln Logs and combine all the best features of both to come together into a wonderful building set that will keep you entertained for hours upon end!

Like Legos, these come in a kit that has instructions on how to create specific designs. The bright colors allow you to enjoy your design and differentiate between pieces easily. But, like Lincoln Logs, they’re made out of wood, instead of plastic! If you don’t feel like following the instructions to build the designs that came with the kit, you can also free-form design to your heart’s content! There’s 170 pieces in the Arckit GO Colors Building Kit, which leaves you with plenty of pieces to create a multitude of designs. Since designs aren’t permanent, you can tear down and rebuild as often as you like!

Now, let’s see what the kids had to say about it:

  • We didn’t follow the instructions and just built our own house.
  • This is perfect for 4-5th graders even if they ar n’t “10” yet
  • “It really teaches enginering”
  • This is great to use as a group so you have extra hands to help build it
  • I love the colors – I saw online that it used to be white and this is more fun to play with.
  • This is kinda like what my dad does for a living.

The Arckit GO Colors Building Kit is also a great way for people who enjoy engineering and architectural design to create life-like 3D models of housing and building designs! They combine well with other Arckit sets, and they all integrate beautifully! They’re definitely great for keeping hands and and minds busy in a good way!
