Sarah Lyn Gay

STEM Life with a nine-year-old college student

Busy Week

by Sarah

I hardly have had any wiggle room for the last couple days because it was such a busy week. On Monday I had to sing at a concert, but that started 15 minutes after my jazz lessons. So I had to wear stage makeup to jazz. Also, we had a hard time finding the place I needed to be.

On Tuesday was my talent show audition, which was an hour after school and an hour before my ballet class (you can probably tell I like dance.) I also had to do college stuff.

Today I had to print off pictures in the school computer lab with another boy. It was the end of the day and he rode the bus so I said I would print off his pictures and mine so he would make it to the bus in time. So I did that, then had to run back to the classroom, pack up, and leave.

As soon as I got home I had to get ready for my TV interview, and I had to read my college textbook (I still haven’t finished the chapter yet) and after that I had to quickly eat dinner then bolt to swimming (I was a titch late.)

After swimming I always stay a little while for diving practice with another girl. So I did that, then I lost track of my locker so I had to find that. Their changing rooms were too small so I had to change in the bathroom. When I was done changing I tried finding a swimsuit dryer in the women’s locker room, but there wasn’t one! So I went in the family locker room to use theirs. Then I  left. Finally, I could relax.

Actually, no. I had to pack my lunch for tomorrow, lay out my clothes for tomorrow, give my cats water, and type this post. So the second I press post, I get to sleep. (Oh, and I still need to finish a school project and start my model of the Jefferson Memorial. I really thought that this busy week would be easier. Jokes on me. I can’t wait until spring break. FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!)
