Wise Ol’ Owl Blackboard Calculator Adds Up To Success!

by Sarah

Yes, I know math homework should be completed without a calculator. It’s a right of passage for all kids to suffer through math problems learning the basics. Except for some kids need a little more to keep them interested. Singing Machine, yes the brand that brings you karaoke machines, has designed an adorable kids’ calculator to make math more interactive, easier to understand, and most importantly more fun!

The Wise Ol’ Owl Blackboard Calculator has the basics down. Your kids will love hearing the Wise Ol’ Owl read each number and function selected. On the large LCD display, each math problem (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication) is also displayed to see a problem from start to finish. Traditional calculators do not show the basic setup of a problem, so it’s harder to visualize how you might reach an answer.

Kids are able to use the Wise Ol’ Owl Blackboard Calculator to solve math problems, check homework, or just explore the outcomes of different number combinations. They are able to physically push the numbers, hear their selections, and see the solutions. As a parent, having a device that incorporates multiple senses in education is key. Plus, one of the best parts of this calculator is that Wise Ol’ Owl can speak English, Spanish, and even French. Exposing children to new languages in a setting they are already famliar with (numbers on a calculator) is a great stepping stone to have them want to further explore new things.

Finally, a few of the key features that parents want to know. Will I find this calculator dead at the bottom of the toy box after a day’s worth of use? Not likely. While the calculator is battery operated, you can feel relieved knowing that there is an auto-shut off after four minutes of inactivity. The keys are soft rubber and easy for little hands to push with the language switch being easily accessible on the side. Wise Ol’ Owl will be a homework friend to your kid for years to come, especially when they are just starting to learn how to solve basic equations. Stop buying cheap calculators that are boring and grab your very own Wise Ol’ Owl Blackboard Calculator from Singing Machine today!
