Knot A Quilt? It is Now!

by Sarah

AlexBrands Knot A Quilt

disclaimer: I was sent Knot A Quilt from Alex Brands for purposes of review. All thoughts are entirely my own and I dare you to try and pry the new “blankie” out of my hands…

OK, time for me to fess up: I still sleep with my baby blanket. You would too as it is soft, fleecy and uber-warm! I am still vertically challenged enough that it covers my whole body while I am stretched out…and yes, my Mom has to sneak it out of my room to wash.

I think that soft, fleecy and uber-warm feel is what I like the most about the Knot-A-Quilt kit. I pulled the pre-cut squares out of the package and let them run through my fingers as I delighted in the multiple colors and fun prints. I couldn’t wait to get started!

I laid them out on the floor until I was happy with the design and then got to work tying knots in the pre-cut stripped edges. I quickly pieced it together well enough that I could take it with me in the car and finish it off.

SUPER easy to assemble — you don’t have to be 9 to do it, I could see a 6-year-old managing this easily!

I was able to take this with me to our Girl Scout camping adventure weekend with me — you can see it poking out on the top of my upper bunk clearly from the bright colors.

This one is a winner – a great gift for that kiddo who likes to “do-it-myself”. They won’t get frustrated and will be all snuggly and happy.
